How often should I update my listing to stay competitive?
Your listing should be updated as much as possible. The listing page for each property will display the last date it was updated. Recent updates will show higher responsiveness and availability, attracting more tenants.
How can I make my listing photos more appealing?
The images of your property are the most important part of your listing. We recommend taking photos using the 3:4 ratio on your phone to ensure better user experience when the travelers check your listing.
How can I highlight my property’s proximity to hospitals and key locations?
At the moment, Nomad World does not automatically calculate your property's proximity to any key location. We recommend you find it through google maps and add it in your listing description. If you have any question about what key locations you should add to your listing, please reach out.
Is there a minimum or maximum stay requirement?
Nomad World highly recommends to set the minimum stay to "1 month", increasing the amount of travelers interested in renting your property. Make sure to stay compliant with your community rules.
Can I filter listings by location, budget, and amenities?
Yes, we added the option to filter the listings on different ways, to help you find the right place, faster.
Are all listings fully furnished?
No, some listings might be offered without furniture for long-term leasing. The listing will say clearly if the apartment is furnished.
Does Nomad World offer any renter protections or guarantees?
Our system was designed to build a safe platform. We ID verify every host and traveler and we check the address of every listing in our platform.
How do I verify the identity of a potential tenant?
Nomad World highly recommend a meeting, video call or phone call with the person you intend to lease you property to. We offer ID verification, but we insist in taking all the safety measures before handing the keys of your property to anyone.
Can I set specific house rules for my rental?
Yes, you, as the host, decide all the terms of your leasing contract. Every property is unique and might need unique terms. If you have any doubts what is appropriate for your situation, please reach out to us.
Can I require a security deposit from tenants?
Yes, you, as the host, decide all the terms of your leasing contract. One month of rent is typically the standard amount for a deposit.
How can I make my listing stand out from others?
There are many ways to make a listing stand out. Focus on highlighting what makes your property unique, come up with a catchy title, and take really good pictures. Offers and discounts are a great way to attract travelers.
How does the booking process work once a nurse is interested?
Once a traveler sends the host a request through Nomad World, the host will have the chance to respond and request any additional information. If both parties agree on the terms, they should meet with each other and sign the lease.
Can I list multiple properties on Nomad World?
Yes, you can list multiple properties if you purchase the "Super Host" or "Agency Level" plans. You can only list ONE property if you purchase the "Starter" plan.
Are there any promotional opportunities to feature my property?
For the moment, the only way to feature your property is by purchasing a plan that offers higher ranking for your listing.
How can I update or remove my property listing?
Nomad World offers the host the opportunity to manage their listings through the "Host Portal." You can update, view or delete your listing at anytime. Personal information and property address must be change by email or phone with our team, for safety reasons.
How can I communicate with a host through Nomad World?
As a traveler, you can communicate with hosts by sending them an inquiry/request through their listing page. They
How does Nomad World verify the legitimacy of the properties?
Nomad World verifies the veracity of the property though ID and proof of address with every host, before the listing is approved and displayed on the website. Nomad World highly recommends touring any property and meeting with the owner before signing any leasing contract or wiring any money.
Can I book a place to stay for someone else?
No, the person who books the place to stay must be verified by our system, to ensure safety for both host and traveler.
Are there any hidden fees or charges when using Nomad World?
No, there are not hidden fees or extra charges. The only cost will be the Plan you choose when listing your rental property. Flat rate and you keep all the profits!
How do I ensure the safety of my property and tenants?
The best way to ensure the safety of your property and your tenants is through a comprehensive leasing contract that covers all the important aspects of renting a property. Compliance with the city laws, safety requirements such as smoke detectors or air filters will only make your place safer and more attractive.
Can I set my own rental prices?
Yes, you decide how much your property costs. However, is highly recommended to keep a competitive amount to ensure the listing brings interest from potential tenants. You can contact us to help you find the right price.
How do I write a description that will attract more travelers?
The perfect description is the one that points out why your property is unique and why anyone should rent it. It is a selling game, where there are no define rules. Too short, too long? Ask yourself: what are my favorite things about this place?
How long is the average travel nursing contract?
Travel nurses usually sign a 13 weeks contract. If the hospital offers extensions, they can stay in the same place up to a year. It is important to offer flexible options in your leasing contract if your want to attract this type of client.
How much should I charge for my property?
You should set a price that stays competitive with the market. If you can stay below market, you will attract more tenants. If you price your property above market price, you just need to justify it, e.g.: luxury furniture, remodeled apartment, extra amenities... If you need any help choosing the right price, contact us.

Nomad World offers a variety of properties through the listing page and the interactive map page, they both lead to the same individual listing page where you can find all the information about each listing. In addition we offer a housing concierge option, where we help you find the apartment that you are looking for, even if they are not listed on the platform.
How do I become a super host?
